長和與 VimpelCom 獲監管當局最終批准
在意大利成立合資企業
（ 2016 年 10 月 25 日，香港與阿姆斯特丹）: 意大利電訊商 3 意大利的母公司長江和記實業有限公司（「長和」）及 WIND 的母公司VimpelCom Ltd（「 VimpelCom 」）證實，雙方已獲得意大利經濟發展局的批准，組成各佔 50/50 權益的合資企業以合併 3 意大利和 WIND 的電訊業務。
長和及 VimpelCom 對合資企業的組成獲得批准表示歡迎，亦即表示交易將如期於年底完成。合資企業將會在意大利的數碼基建投放重大投資，為全國的消費者與商界帶來巨大利益，並透過協同效應釋放顯著價值。
