（香港，2018 年 8 月 31 日）長江和記實業有限公司（「長江和記」）今天宣佈獲歐盟委員會批准收購 Veon 於 Wind Tre 的 50% 股權。

長江和記從今將會全資擁有這家意大利主要流動電訊公司。

歐盟委員會的決定標誌著收購程序的最後階段，預計交易將於九月七日前後完成。

長江和記集團聯席董事總經理霍建寧先生指：「我們歡迎歐盟委員會的決定。集團獲歐盟批准全購 Wind Tre，將令集團的盈利及現金流得到重大裨益，為股東創造上佳價值。長江和記將繼續投資領先數碼科技，務求將 Wind Tre 的網絡容量、覆蓋及速度，提升至前所未有的超級水平，為意大利全國的消費者及商界帶來裨益。」
