（香港，二○一三年四月二十八日）和記黃埔有限公司強烈譴責貨櫃碼頭罷工事件背後的滋事分子今天到集團旗下港島海逸君綽酒店生事，滋事分子企圖衝入酒店，滋擾住客，破壞香港旅遊業的聲譽。

和黃發言人說，恐嚇滋擾酒店住客、破壞香港旅遊業聲譽的行為極其卑劣，顯示職工盟秘書長李卓人及其一眾工會成員從發動工潮一刻開始，已經只想借罷工為名不斷製造事端，企圖引起公眾注意，以種種破壞法治的行為去達到其個人目的。

香港國際貨櫃碼頭有限公司在處理是次工潮時一直奉公守法，按照法律行事，可是李卓人及其一幫滋事分子者卻多次罔顧法律，破壞香港秩序，從最初非法闖入貨櫃碼頭阻礙運作開始，繼而圍堵長江集團中心、衝擊與碼頭業務無關的和黃零售店舖、圍堵李嘉誠先生寓所、癱瘓葵涌貨櫃碼頭南路及中區花園道交通後，現在又滋擾集團酒店，其口中所說的「和平示威」，完全破產；也印證了集團董事總經理霍建寧先生較早前所說，李卓人從一開始就沒有意圖要達成協議，為工人謀取利益。

發言人表示，以這種非法手段與文革式鬥爭行為去挑釁，無助解決工潮。面對這些非法行為，集團會繼續以無懼的精神和合法的方式，去應付和保衛集團應有的權利。
