（香港，2013 年 7 月 20 日）因應傳媒查詢，和記黃埔今天證實，旗下屈臣氏集團現正就以「百佳」為主要品牌經營的超級市場零售業務進行策略性評估，以期為股東帶來最大利益。

直至今天，屈臣氏仍然沒有就其評估設定完成日期，也不保證是項評估會達至任何交易。

和黃強調無意從香港撤資， 外間傳言毫無根據。

在評估期間，屈臣氏與百佳將如常專注執行各自的日常業務營運。

百佳是屈臣氏全資擁有的附屬公司，是香港食物零售業的翹楚，並在澳門和華南地區佔重要的市場地位，店舖總數 345 間，2012 年收益總額為港幣 217 億元。
