5G牌照發放三年多來，中國電信始終堅持打造高質量的5G網絡以回饋廣大客戶、賦能千行百業高品質的5G通信需求，與中國聯通共建共享，建成了全球首張、規模最大、網速最快的5G SA共建共享網絡，截至2022年上半年，開通5G共享基站87萬站，實現了重點鄉鎮基本連續覆蓋。在此基礎上，持續深化共建共享，開通4G共享基站87萬站，並積極推進700M的5G共享。共建共享產生了巨大的經濟和社會效益，雙方累計節約投資2400億元，每年節約運營成本超200億元、節電超100億度、降低碳排放600萬噸，向全球通信行業貢獻了中國運營商方案。未來，公司將精準高效建設5G網絡，加快推進全頻率、全區域的5G共建共享，持續提升5G覆蓋，持續提升網絡性能，持續提升客戶感知，滿足市場發展需求。持續加強4/5G協同，以高質量5G網絡牽引4G終端加快向5G遷移，不斷提高5G網絡利用效率和效能；在此基礎上加快現有4G網絡資源共享、推動4G一張網建設，進一步優化4G網絡品質、提升客戶滿意度。積極把握當前經濟社會各行業網絡化、數字化、智能化的綜合信息服務需求，持續深化5G領域雲網融合，加強5G與天翼雲、AI、安全、數字化平台等深度融通聚合，強化5G新技術應用和大數據AI賦能，助力賦能5G+產業互聯網規模化應用，更加有效發揮5G對產業數字化和經濟社會數字化轉型拉動作用，鞏固競爭優勢，強化未來發展動能，努力推進國家數字經濟創新發展，在經濟社會數字化轉型中發揮更大作用。
