[新加坡- 2013年3月7日] 和記港口信託今天從DP World ACT Holdings Limited, DP World 8 Limited及PSA China Pte Limited全面收購其附屬機構亞洲貨櫃碼頭控股有限公司(“亞洲貨櫃碼頭控股”)已發行及已繳足的股本，作價港幣39.17億元(約新加坡幣6.3億元)。

亞洲貨櫃碼頭控股擁有及營運位於香港葵涌八號西貨櫃碼頭的亞洲貨櫃碼頭有限公司(“亞洲貨櫃碼頭”)，與信託現有的貨櫃碼頭相鄰。

和記港口信託行政總裁嚴磊輝就是次交易表示：「這次收購表現了和記港口信託履行對基金單位持有人的承擔，除了在珠江三角洲投資、營運及管理深水貨櫃港外，還顯示其不斷尋找合適收購機會的策略，為基金單位持有人帶來定期、穩定及長線增長的分派回報。」

他續說：「將亞洲貨櫃碼頭納入信託的業務組合是我們的策略，以提高信託於香港貨櫃碼頭的處理能力，更有助提升信託現時於葵青港的設施之整體操作靈活性及效率，從而加強香港港口作為國際航運樞紐的競爭力，並能與區內其他港口爭取國際中轉業務。」
