Unlawful Entry into Cheung Kong Center Banned

(Hong Kong, 26 April 2013) The Court granted an interlocutory injunction today to restrain Lee Cheuk-yan, the general secretary of the Hong Kong Confederation of Trade Unions, several union members and demonstrators from unlawful entry into Cheung Kong Center.

Welcoming the Court decision, a spokesman for Hutchison Whampoa Limited said the Company trusts that the above-mentioned people will respect the decision of the Court, and the Company has decided to reopen entrances to provide convenience to users of the building.

HWL sincerely regrets the inconvenience caused to the users of the building in the past two weeks, and the Company is grateful for their understanding.
