太古海洋開發公司今天宣佈向日本Universal Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) 訂購六艘3,700噸級具備高性能的平台補給船（附有選擇權再購買四艘船隻）。該等船隻將於USC的京濱船廠建造，由二零一四年第三季開始陸續交付。這是繼二零一一年年底向USC訂購四艘5,000噸級平台補給船後簽訂的造船合約。
太古海洋開發公司董事總經理Neil Glenn稱：「我們很高興宣佈再向USC訂購平台補給船。現時太古海洋開發公司已訂購二十九艘新船，我們將擁有業內其中一支船齡最低、技術最先進和最可靠的船隊，足使我們能夠充分配合客戶未來的需要。」
