太古股份有限公司的全資附屬公司太古海洋開發公司今天於南韓巨濟市接收由三星重工為其建造的第一艘，亦是全球最大的風力發電站裝置船 Pacific Orca 號。Pacific Orca 號船長 161 米，闊 49 米，深 10.4 米，是全球可安裝風力渦輪發電機的最大型結構體，可安裝十二組 3.6 兆瓦特的發電裝置。太古海洋開發公司董事總經理 Neil Glenn 稱：「接收 Pacific Orca 號是我們一個重要的里程碑。我們確信該艘裝置船將可為離岸風力發電客戶提供所期望的高效性能和優質服務水平。」Pacific Orca 號將用作提供服務予丹麥的公用事業公司 DONG Energy。太古海洋開發公司尚有一艘風力發電站裝置船正在建造中，預期於本年年底付運。
