太古股份有限公司（股份代號：00019/00087）今天宣佈，美國太古可口可樂（太古飲料有限公司的附屬公司）已取得新的專營區域，並已順利進行專營區域的移交工作。美國太古可口可樂早前與可口可樂公司就擴大專營區域簽署最終協議，其專營區域因而擴大至包括毗鄰已有專營區域的丹佛市及科羅拉多斯普林斯市。連同新專營區域，美國太古可口可樂專營區域覆蓋的人口由六百二十萬增至一千零七十萬。最終協議的財務條款不予披露。
美國太古可口可樂主席兼行政總裁 Jack Pelo 表示：「我們很高興今天與可口可樂公司順利完成移交工作。在新的營運模式下，我們將繼續切實迎合消費者及客戶的需要。」
太古飲料行政總裁賀以禮表示：「取得新專營區域後，我們在美國的業務規模顯著擴大。太古飲料致力在轄下所有專營區域建立世界級的裝瓶系統，並繼續與可口可樂公司緊密合作，太古飲料會充分發揮在地方推廣、經銷及客戶服務方面的實力，致力為大幅增加的客戶群服務。」
可口可樂公司北美區集團總裁Sandy Douglas表示：「我們與太古同樣深信，強大的專營系統一直是可口可樂全球業務的優勢所在。今天作出的宣佈，象徵著我們將繼續推行美國業務的變革，進一步邁向我們的『2020願景』。」

太古飲料有限公司是太古股份有限公司(股份代號： 00019/00087) (www.swirepacific.com) 其中一個業務部門，持有專營權在香港、台灣、中國內地七個省份及美國西部廣泛地區生產、推廣及經銷可口可樂公司產品。太古與可口可樂公司的關係始於一九六五年，當時太古收購香港專營公司的大部分股權。太古飲料生產五十六個飲料品牌，專營區域覆蓋逾四億四千萬人口。
