Swire Properties Announces a Distinct Gathering of
Flagship and Global Retailers in Beijing Sanlitun Development
The Village at SanLiTun is Set to Become the Capital's Cosmopolitan Centrepiece

Swire Properties announces today (Wednesday, 22nd August 2007) that it has amassed a distinguished collection of flagship and global stores for The Village at SanLiTun, the Company's first retail development to be opened in China.

The Village at SanLiTun will be home to Adidas' largest store worldwide, covering a total floor area of 3,160 sq m (34,000 sq ft), as well as the largest shops in the country for Montblanc and Sephora, with a size of 1,700 sq m (18,300 sq ft) and 515 sq m (5,500 sq ft) respectively. Nike and Best Seller will also open their stores at The Village, at 735 sq m (7,900 sq ft) and 993 sq m respectively (10,700 sq ft). A host of international brands, such as Folli Follie and Kosta Boda Orrefors, have committed to develop the best in their chain at The Village at SanLiTun.

The spectacular trade mix also includes a 1,700-seat, eight-screen Megabox Cinema and a cluster of renowned creative brands, such as Versace, Ports International, Masterpiece and Class Roberto Cavalli, as well as high-energy brands including Esprit, Lacoste, i.t, Quiksilver, Craft, Mizuno, Hilfiger Denim, Levi's, Sole Town, Eminence and G2000, to name a few. The Village at SanLiTun will also contain more than 30 restaurants and bars, from the finest of sophisticated dining to the convenience of popular snacks.

"What we are creating at The Village is much more than a retail experience. Our vision is to develop The Village into a vibrant community, blending in with and helping to regenerate the Sanlitun area. We aim to establish a cosmopolitan mix of fashion, food, art, entertainment and hospitality, creating an environment where people can stay all day, mixing outdoor street-side events and activities with indoor dining, entertainment and shopping," added Chan.

The Village at SanLiTun, located at the junction of Worker's Stadium North Road and Sanlitun Road in Chaoyang District, comprises two sites with a total site area of over 53,000 sq m (580,000 sq ft). Scheduled for opening in the first half of 2008, the project has a total floor area of over 172,000 sq m (1,850,000 sq ft) spreading over 19 buildings, including a stylish 100-room boutique hotel.
